Brother, walk to your local library or bookstore and get lost in an adventure or pick up a hobby.I'll give you some suggestions on some good reads
American Soldier by Gen (Ret.) Tommy Franks (gives great insight on how a war is launched)
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks (Appeals to my romantic, sweet side)
The Murder of Christ by John MacArthur (Informative)
Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden (true story about taking down a Columbian cartel leader)
Without A Badge by Jerry Speziale (true story written by a former NY pc cop who joined the DEA in taking down the Cali cartel)
The Tender Bar:A Memoir by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist JR Moehringer (great read)

Research the world you live in:https://cia.gov/cia//publications/factbook/index.html
then select a country on the pulldown menu. Where would you like to go?

Learn something. You have access to a computer and the "internets." Become knowledgeable in cancer, crime, drug smuggling, learn to play an instrument (I'm still teaching myself guitar.Youtube has some guitar instrcution vids by people who can play rather well)etc.

Volunteer somewhere, such as your local humane society(walk the dogs, change their kennels,do meet and greets with potential pet owners, etc),red cross, an equestrian center. Humble yourself.Ask for a ride.

I did get up every morning and work out with my weight set then I'd visit the library and check out some books to read. Then I would break out all of my art supplies and work on drawing something. I would study my old Hebrew Text book so I would have a leg up when class started again, and then I play xbox watch TV and sleep.

I suggest to you to find a guitar and learn how to play it by asking help from those who know or through self study using song books and other materials. It will entertain you and will surely boost your selfworth and confidence. You may not be interested at first but most people would be hooked to it after trying. This is a skill you can share to others someday most specially to your future children. Most often families are united by the musics and recreations they share...I wish you can try your best on this. If you happen to be able to play the guitar already, then try to compose songs...Good luck!
