I know it's just a dream, but I'm interested in what people have to say.
Point form...
I was wandering around in this area, for a reunion. I decide to go to the dentist. His office is set in a large Victorian house.
House owned by dentist. after check up, I was told to go to room 4.
room 4 in a difficult to get part of the house. Inside I see Catherine Willows, (Crime Scene Investigator character) She is either investigating/unpacking (unclear) Looks at me very coolly. I look behind to see a very ill woman lying down on a mattress talking to no-one in particular. suddenly mentions my name, accusing people of neglecting her. I go to her to comfort her.
When I hold her hand, he hand is unaccountably warm. She appears to be unseeing, but not blind. She is delighted at the human contact. After a brief chat, when I am about to go, she is markedly reluctant to let go. When I do, I go with Catherine Willows. We go together to have lunch.
End of dream

i think you are feeling neglected and you see this in another woman and you give her the attention that you yourself are looking for, catherine is the sort of person that you would like to be affiliated with, she has compassion and is a confident woman someone you feel you would like to be like, and someone you would really like to have lunch with, i mean who wouldnt i think she is sooooo cool.
she gave me the inspiration to do my degree in criminal psychology.
well i hope that my interpretation is ok for you.

Odd.
Well, anything to do with teeth and dentists is a bad sign. It either signifies that a relationship is going to end, or that you're very insecure.
Women, it doesn't matter who, signify jealousy and insecurity, as well. The jealousy may or may not be on your part.
A strange bedroom indicates that there is a new relationship forming in your life, or that there will be soon.
Fear, which is what I'm sure you felt, shows that you will find out what your fears are and will find the courage to conquer them.
This is all theoretical, of course, but maybe it holds some kind of truth for you.

Something from your past has triggered a recent interest for you. Therefore, you have been trying to find out why you still feel the way you do about it.
You have been digging in your past, whether emotionally or by going through your old scrapbooks. You have a feeling that you know why, but you are not sure if you want to admit it to yourself.
You try to over analyze the whole situation, but the fact of the matter is that it is so obvious and so preliminary.
In the end you just accepted that fact.
Good Luck!

It took some time to read the other questions you asked to get an idea of the kind of person you are, but it appears you are worried about how others feel about you as person.
Although you appear to be outgoing and friendly, you are overcompensating out of fear that others may view you as somewhat anti social. You are drawn to the intellectual character Grissom from the same show, but are afraid of being seen as the same type of person.
You want to share your ideas and opinions with the world, but you are worried that if you appear too smart, others will not want to be around you, and you will end up alone.

Difficult to get to part of house suggests that you have frustrations in life and the appearance of a celeb in your dream suggests that you aspire to greater things in life be they financial or fame-related. The ill woman is you, synonymous with the frustrations and need to be recognised. The third person, played by you, grabbing the ill woman's hand is, in a way, giving the sought after recognition that You (the ill woman) exists.
But hey, what do I know?

Well I had a dream of severed hand once. Actually there is severed legs and stuff two. Yeah, it was gruesome. However I don't believe in dreams so much, for they don't actually "predict" what will happen. Just don't worry so much about it and everything will be alright.

Oh wow. It's totally about neglecting your parents when they get old and you decide it's time they lived in a nursing home.
Your dream inspired me to write a song about it. We'll call it "Nursing Homes".
man lately i can't stop thinkin about
what we're gonna do with our parents
lately i can't stop thinkin about
nursing homes and parents dying in them
and their children out chasing dreams
while your heads growing so old
how we're all growing so cold
i think there's room for a change
i think there's room
