Did you have any contributing medical problems before you became employeed by this company? There are a number of questions...more info. needed but there is a federal disabilities act that covers what is legal for a company regarding injuries at work and disabilities in general. If you can't find the information on the internet, call legal aid. You have rights here and you need to know what they are. Sounds to me like they are violating your rights. There are very few reasons where it is legal to terminate someone, especially when it involves medical issues. They may even be liable for your medical bills plus lost salary. Also, there is the workman's comp. issue.

Please call for legal help...legal aid is national and least expensive. The whole thing sounds "fishy" to me.

Not if you live in the UK they can't, without going through procedures with you to see if there are any alternatives to the job you were employed to do. However, at the end of the day there were none, then you could be dismissed as 'incapacity' (due to illness) is a good defence to a claim by the employee for unfair or wrongful dismissal.

Have you claimed damages from them for the injury that you suffered at work?

sure! a three day be conscious is criminal in maximum states. the incapacity would not substitute or have something to do along with your criminal criminal duty to pay the hire. they do no longer could provide you greater time by using fact of it the two. in case you do go away yet do no longer pay then they'd sue you for any owed quantity. If evicted they can't sue you for the the rest months. they'd in basic terms sue you for hire for the duration of the day you progression out. He would not desire to your ss# to sue you. All he desires is your call. he's not doing something incorrect here. He would not legally could provide you any preferential therapy due on your disability while the hire isn't paid. Disabled people who don't pay what they owe get taken care of the comparable as all people else. EDIT: it somewhat isn't any longer descrimination while the hire isn't paid!! the owner isn't rquired to look ahead to disability earnings again in. in case you could no longer pay the hire then you certainly could pass out, disabled or no longer.

You can't be terminated at work in the US due to a disability. The minute you recover and return to work, then they can fire you.

Call a lawyer and ask them.

Can you say 'lawsuit"?

If you got hurt on the job, that's wrongful termination under discrimination.

Talk to a lawyer. NOW.

Unless they found you stealing money from them or doing something criminal, they had no right to do that. Get a lawyer.
