Hey,Mike the answer is no I don't think she has not been exposed up here in the United States Culture . This guys would go crazy for her. Thalia was my favorite back home Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera are the thing here sad so sad..

Yeah shes well liked and known. But more to the latin fans now because she doesnt really do english anymore since she made a song with Fat joe. i Think paulina rubio and Shakira mostly are more popular

That's a pretty vague question cuz you are asking millions of people a question that each person will vary in answer. Personally, I hear the weather is amazing there, and the names of the towns are hilarious. Like Phukital for one.. in america that is pronounced "fu*k it all". So that's just one person's opinion.
