I don't like the VRod, it like between a cruiser and a crotch rocket. No real bikers ride them so they must be chick bikes.

The only Harley I know of that is really called a chick bike are the Sportsters. And that is only because a lot of females seem to like the smaller frame / size of the bike. You will find women riding all the Harleys but Sporties seem to have the largest following of women out of all the inventory.

The VROD was primarily to test the acceptance of the new water cooled engines and has grown popular enough that there is now a whole line of that bike.

Out of the box it is the fastest Harley sold to the public and more and more customizers are turning out products for them.

It's a bike for them that like it. Chicks or Pork chops. If you like it. ride it. If you don't, then don't. There really is no such thing as a girl's bike. There are women that ride bikes that I would get killed on. While a V-Rod is not the ride for me, it is an interesting machine. After all it is a zoomsplat designed in the U.S.

I stand corrected. I thought they were just stange in California!

Andrew Hines :Earned second consecutive world championship title; Became first rider to run sub six seconds; Set national records for elapsed time (6.968 seconds) and speed (197.45 mph); Won two of five final round appearances; Topped the qualifying fields at nine of 15 events. All on a V-Rod ! Sound like a GIRLIE BIKE ? I think not !!!!

No.
Its the only modern motorcycle Harley makes and its fast.
You might look around and check out how many chicks ride the same bike you do, compared to the VRod.

Its about the ride, not the pose.

Actually, I think it's supposed to be a performance bike, even though I don't care for the look of 'em either, as I tend to go more the old school look.

harley's do have a tendency to draw more women than a rice be sure. some women ride 883's, others like the heritage, low rider, fatboy, or road king. then there's women that prefer to just kick back and enjoy the view from the back and snap pics of the scenery.
