I had a Border Collie once. She was also black and white. We called her BWD. That was what she was...Black White Dog.

I like naming pets after favorite characters in books or movies. (e.g. "Kaya" from the movie "Willow" or "Madeleine" from the children's book. Kaya is a dog and Madeleine, Maddie for short, is one of my cats.)
