Uh.. Lol.. it's not in the right section but.. Yep..
Plants are green because they have chloroplast in their cells (mostly in leaves) which contains the pigment chlorophyll that gives the plant the green colour... It can only work when the plant is creating food for itself through a process called photosynthesis.. this process needs water, chlorophyll, energy (sunlight) and oxygen to create food and give it's colour for the plant..
without water and light, the plant cannot make food (photosynthesis) and theirfore dies, which stops the pigment from working..

If the leaves are dry, brittle or crumbling, then yes, the plant lacks water or light. Otherwise, you're probably overwatering. Let the plant dry out completely, and then water just enough that the soil soaks in the water quickly, and a little bit of water shows up in the tray underneath the pot you have it in. Then leave the plant to dry out completely again and repeat the watering process. Good luck!

Both, its a bit confusing cos of this thing called photosynthesis, which basically means th plant uses light to make its food, but yeah if it doesnt have light the plant cant make its own nutrients, but some plants dont need to photosynthesise, so therefore no need for light so the just turn white if there is no light instead of being green

It's more than likely a disease caused by bacterium, viral, or something in the water that your plants do not like. Leave your water out in a jug over night before you water for about 48 hours, and the chemicals such as chlorine will dissipate.

I'd say if the leaves are still a little supple and yellow, it's lack of light. If the leaves are dry and yellow, I'd say it's a lack of water.

Both. Also lack of nutrients...too much acidity in the water?

I worked in a florist shop for awhile, and it's because they are being over watered, and need more light.

It can be both. But generally it's more because of not getting water.
