all the beings, creatures and entities of near dimensions who share our space, would we be scared, or revolted? What was that Roddy Piper movie, They Live?

Well, that could actually get quite disturbing and vomit-inducing.

I say this because we move through this world based upon our relation to spatial boundaries. We know how close to get to a fridge based upon the object itself, and our own spatial properties.

To be able to 'see' other dimensions would most likely disrupt our spatial recognition, since we would be recognizing 'beings' in ways that would mess with our established physical boundaries.

Imagine a room populated with 'spirits' of all kinds. Whereas normally you would simply walk through the room ignorant, putting on the glasses could create feelings of claustrophobia and disorientation because you would want to 'react' to those spirits, but you would do so via physical properties, not spiritual, so there would be a dissonance. Even looking at your own body would be disorienting because you would see the 'spiritual' layers that make up your 'arm' and would fail to understand how that spiritual arm and that 'real' arm could exist at the same time.

Even the Roddy Piper movie assumed 'they' inhabited similar physical property space the same as we, but they were revealed within people, not outside of them, which is how they worked out the problem.

The glasses in They Live revealed something more scary - it was a metaphore for how we are controlled through mass media. Image is nothing, thirst is everything - obey your thirst!

think this would be very interesting as this would either prove or disprove the theory there are other dimensions living in the same space. don't think it would be scary but rather educational.
