1. Enter setup, and auto detect your drives, save the settings and reboot your system (You'll find your pc wont spend time looking for the hardware).

2. Reconfigure all software on your pc to start "manually" (i.e. all software running in your systemtray)

3. Scan your pc with a good updated antivirus

4. Defragment your C: drive

5. Restore your pc to an earlier date (i.e. last good bootup)

Go to Start - Run - type in "msconfig" (without the quotes) - Okay - go to the Startup tab and deselect everything except rundll32. You're not removing any programs, just removing them from the startup process where, frankly, they're unnecessary, and in future it'll start a damn sight quicker.

Get rid of uneeded programs,Turn off everything that comes on during startup,wich helps more than anythin,type msconfig in the "run" box and turn all these off,its never necessary to have any of these on

try start/ run/msconfig on startup u have some programs that start automatecly with your comp...try to unmark the programs u don't need

also try run/services.msc the same thing only here u have the windows programs

If your PC (BIOS) supports STR (suspend to RAM) this makes for a very quick shutdown (standby really) and start up...

upgrade ur RAM... and also stop the unwanted services in your system.... Try to use softwares which is capable of running for ur ram capacity... Tht will hold good...
