Why would you think that everyone responding to your questions would be unlike-minded? I think that there are most likely many that share your views. Secondly, I can't see as asking questions and having them answer them is a form of control.. I can see how asking questions and getting quality answers could help them though. If it is all such a dilemma, perhaps you should stay on the sidelines and let others do it.. then you have no impact at all within this communication forum.

Perhaps by asking questions of strangers you hope to get answers that are not biased in the same way that answers from like-thinkers must always be. You will only ever develop understanding if you examine an idea from every possible point of view.

The reason is because you want to be heard.
In a world where everybody's clamouring for attention, most people feel left out.
So posting a question on a forum which is read worldwide, and gets answers from people, sometimes even intelligent answers, will add meaning and value to your worthless life.

You post to perfect strangers, because of just that. You won't ever meet them, nor they you...unless you give your email and invite them...in the meantime, you might just get some wisdom and insite from someone who has been through the same things you have or give you the answers you have been searching for...without them ever knowing you, or you knowing them..good luck

because anonymity is better than embarassment.
and because maybe you could learn something new, or see things a different way (that "might" be better than your own insight), or you might want to learn from someone who has already been thru that same situation. Your viewpoint seems to only think about you, but maybe you have something to offer to others too.

Because:
you want to know what unlike-minded people think.
you want to show us how smart and educated you are.
you want to tell people how wrong they are.
you want to control them
and we will answer you the way we want.
