Dr Pearson’s locally famous eggnog contains 9 eggs, 2 cups rye whiskey, 1 cup brandy, 1 cup rum, a secret ingredient, 2 quarts half and half, one 1/2 pint whipping cream, 2 cups sugar — and, of course, you’ll top this with nutmeg. The family would not under any circumstances divulge the secret ingredient or the mixing instructions.

There isn't a secret ingredient in eggnog. It is very simple, but the booze will make you a little tipsy if not careful. However, it's the holidays, you have worked hard all year, have a couple of eggnog drinks (no matter what the secret ingredient) and RELAX!! Another year is yet to come, enjoy the Eggnog!!!
