Good question. But the answer is not so simple.
Main problem of Africa is corruption and tribunal organization and government. Additionally there are ecological catastrophes, like lack of water, diseases.
So the solution must be in two front: internal and external. Internally, Africans should start developing real democracy, eliminating tribunal dictators, increase education level and quality. At the same time the Western World should ship economical help to start developing viable agriculture, industry.
In other words: not likely to any of these will happen. The tribunal leaders will not volunteer to denounce and give up their power; Africans has no power and will to start fighting and the Western World just doesn't give a damn on Africa.

1. Education 2. Honestly working and 3. Nationalism can eliminate poverty of any country.
Africa is rich in minerals and vegitations. Only thing, it needs hard work and honesty

it will never end. poverty is relative. one day, when the rest of the world drives only high end cars and africa all drives hondas, theyre still in poverty relative to the rest of us.

The african governments are just so unstable or if they are not unstable they favor one tribe over another. You have to change the leaders hearts and the people hearts, they don't seem to get it. Prayers the answer very much in this case.

A lot of work needs to be done on governance. It has been shown that if you get the system right growth will follow.

1:Use birth control (Less children means less needed food)
2:Start farming (Start growing food)
3:Open business (Markets,shops,...)
4:The government needs to make more money for the country.
(However,you may not want to take advise from a 14-year old like me)

You can't... Many of those people live in the bush and will not change. If you will not change then there is no help needed.
