You don't buy memory on eBay. You can buy direct from Dell, or from a variety of sources on the internet. But you have to know exactly what kind of memory your Dell has, and how much more you can add. Put the Dell model of your pc into a Google search and it will find the specs for it. Then you can print or save the details and you'll know what to do.
A good, reliable and honest source for such things is Tiger Direct, or Buy.com or Omni Technologies. I've bought from all three and all are dependable and have good prices. Shop around before you buy, checking price and shipping costs.

Hi, the answer is no.
You need to find the ram that will fit on your motherboard.
Some motherboards have 240 pin, 180pin, etc and also you need to find RAM that is right for your motherboard example, PC3200, PC4000, PC4200, etc
the best way to find the RAM is to go to:
www.memorystore.com will tell you which RAMs are compatible with your motherboard.

No, go to Dell's website and check which type of memory it uses. It'll be something like DDR PC2100 or something like that. Then buy that type.
