Everyone says that i talk a lot . but i dont think so i do so can you tell the solution to this problem ?

I tend to be a very good listener, but on the occasions when I find that I really do need to talk a lot, I try to make sure that the other person or people are willing and able to listen to what I need to say.

There is nothing wrong with talking alot, so long as you are talking to the right people and giving them an opportunity to listen and talk back to you. Make sure that you listen to what they say as well, and reflect that you understand what they are talking about by the responses you give to them.

Maybe you need to practice your listening skills just a bit.

Listen to Jami W. I think she is exactly right. especially about asking questions. People need to feel like you are interested in them. Asking questions and actually listening, not just thinking about what you want to say next, can help build a strong relationship. It may sound strange, but you would really benefit from a listening class. It is a difficult task to master. Listening and hearing are 2 different things.

Well...give it a try---shut up---be a listener instead. This is a silly problem but since you asked--don't you think it probably is true--either tone it down or find new friends...it's your choice. Do you have to speak about everything??? Do you think everyone wants to hear you all the time??? Be truthful with yourself---try just not talking---isn't that easy??

People who spend a lot of time alone do talk a lot as soon as they are in the company of someone as they have a lot of things they want to say and a lot of catching up to do after being alone.

The solution is not convenient...

People usually won't say that unless it is really bothering them. If they feel that you are not interested in what they have to say and that you just want to talk about yourself then they probably won't want to hang around you.

You need to take the time to listen to other people. By that I mean when they say something about themselves don't give them an example of how that happened to you or how something worse happened, just listen and mirror things so they know you are listening. Like if they tell you about how their boyfriend cheated on them and then dumped them then say, oh you must just want to punch him, or something along those lines.

Maybe the problem is you have nothing new or interesting to say ! Some people feel bored with themselves and talk circles to sound more intersting . Get better material to talk about , get a hobby or activity if you have to, and don't forget to ask people questions and take their body cues to leave them alone seriously.

Try going on a trip by yourself somewhere for a few days. When you get back they will ask about your trip or not. If they do, they must not mind hearing you. If they ignore the fact that you were gone, they must not want to hear your voice.

Well, who do you think is wrong? You or everybody else you know? Just don't talk as much. I know people who seem to think that everytime a thought goes through their heads, they think it has to be said out loud. Trust me, it doesn't!
