It may be hard to imagine in this age of hating the rich, but no job pays too much. Market forces determine pay (except where government has interfered). For instance, people like basketball. People like to watch experts play the game, and they are willing to pay big for it. If it was a game that was less popular, like dominos, the pay would not be as high no matter what the level of skill. If basketball were to get less popular, the pay would drop.
Similarly, executives who make massive amounts of money probably earn it. The ability to direct a corporation and guide it into the future is rare, and companies will pay big for someone who can do it.
Is it fair? Yes. A diamond is worth more than a bicycle not because it is more useful, but because people are willing to pay more for it.

Anywayz, to answer your Q, any professional athlete. I don't care how good they are. They don't deserve to get paid as much as they do. Do they save lives ? Even doctors don't make as much as athletes !!! :s Doctors went to skewl for a long time... Athletes just got lucky... (most prob anywayz)
