Ok, so the attic to my house is in my closet. I dreamed that the Grudge people were in it, and that they had killed the rest of my family. I kept trying to close the door, it wouldn't close, and then the girl drowned me in my bathtub. Really weird thing is the door was open when I woke up, and don't remember leaving it open before I went to bed!

Nope. I always wake up before death. My most reoccurring dream when I was young was where I was falling off of a building and as soon as I was about to hit the ground I woke up in pain. This is because I at that exact moment had fallen off the bed and hit the floor. Very weird, but apparently very common.

I feel that 'dying in your dreams' means you've experienced a kind of 'loss' in your life that has really affected you. It may also mean that your life is turning, and could be for the better, depending on where you are in your life, right now. Have you gone through some life-altering changes, recently?

I don't believe that if you die in your dreams, that you'll die in real life, but it does have a significance to what you're going through, to some extent, whether you're grieving or have some issues around death that you've experienced.

I've had dreams where I died, and it was from a 'bear attack'...what an awful dream, and an awful way to die, but it happened, and the moment the bear's paw went up, I was on the ground, and I could see his claws coming down towards me, in slow motion, and the second he swiped at me, everything went black, but I could hear myself breathing, and I felt a sharp pain, in my neck and chest, and then I felt a lot of pressure in my chest, like my heart has slowing down, and then I stopped breathing. Just as I started to panic, I woke up. That dream haunts me from time to time, seeing how I actually felt my heart slow down some, and after that dream, I haven't gone anywhere NEAR where bears were, just because that dream was so real to me! I will never forget that dream. I think that everything has a meaning, and everything happens for a reason. I don't know the reason for my dream, other than "keep away from bears", but on the other hand, the bear might represent something entirely different, than being the animal that it was, in my dream. I'm still trying to figure that one out, though!

I have never died in my dreams, but I have come close! I always wake up in a cold sweat before I die. Of course these dreams occurred a while ago, when I was a child fearing abandonment issues. Now-a-days I hardly ever remember my dreams lol. I do think it is very interesting that you die in your dreams.... I find the human mind a very mysterious thing and it interests me. Would you mind emailing me one of your dreams? judy_is_not_jello@yahoo.com

I do think the same as you though... .it is a bunch of bs that when you die in your dream you actualy die.....

I had a weird dream the day before.

I dreamt I was at the airport Gate 14,where there was a restaurant next to it and my family were busily eating there, but I rushed out to the balcony beside the runway of the airport's hangar, where I spotted many unknown airlines' planes taking off and landing, some parking there permanantly and there was a flight hostess beside me...and sudden

I think once.
I remember waking up thinking
"what a lie, I thought You die in real life if you die in a dream"
never the less I was glad I was alive.

No, apparently if you die in your dream, you are dead in real life too. You always wake up just before you hit the ground
