Pregnancy while menstruating and using a tampon?

Here is the story. I was on the 5th day of my period (they usually last 7 days) and my guy and I fooled around. There was nothing except the string on the outside down there, so he sort of went a teeny tiny bit inside. He climaxed and now I am concerned. Could I still get pregnant even though I was on my period and had a tampon in? He didn't go IN completely. It was more of a tease thing. I can't quite explain it. You would have had to experience something like this to get what I'm saying.

By fooling around I meant that we couldn't go all the way due to me having my period, so we did things differently. We're both very serious about each other and have known each other for years. I've known him before marriage, and went back with him after a bad marriage. I just didn't know the good thing I had under my nose, to all those who will jump at that last sentence.

There is an extremely slight chance that you can get pregnant from playing "just the tip" while on your period. But it isn't very likely at all. I wouldn't worry about it unless your next period is late.

I should think it's highly unlikely. You'd need to be ovulating to fall pregnant and that doesn't usually happen until 10-15 days after the start of your period.

Everyone's cycle is different (it depends how long your cycle is) and it doesn't mean you can only get pregnant on the 2/3 days that you ovulate so it's always better to be safe than sorry.

So, I wouldn't think that you're pregnant.

Sperm are good swimmers. THe odds are against getting pregnant however if your pregnant it's probably because you were "fooling around" at a different time. and only fools fool around and what next your pregnant. Then your whole life changes. Is that what you really want?
