Maybe these suggestions will help you:
1. Don't speak sheepishly, or arrogantly. Just re-act according to the situation. try to bring some variability to the table.
2. Speaking mono-tone can really dull out your friends. (even if you don't speak that much)... so, use different tones. God gave you vocal cords. use 'em.
3. Think before you speak. Its a classic lesson, and its true. People will have a much easier time wanting to listen to you if whatever you have to say--is worth being heard.
4. LISTEN to your friends. Maybe its not about how much you say, but maybe you talk too much about yourself...think about it, and consider being more considerate about what others want to hear...talking isn't just about saying what you want to say.
5. Speak from your heart, don't withhold what's dying to come out, but also- don't let everything out so that there's nothing in your heart yet to be discovered.
*Communication in relationships of all kinds can apply these suggestions.
Best of luck in your growing and learning experience!

If it's not a problem to you, then never mind what they say. That's just your personality. So what if you are alittle talkative, at least your in a good mood and being friendly, (right!?). Better than being nasty anyday.

A person usually do not see himself/herself but pointed out by others. In such case, you should consentrate whe, where and how you speak, whether it was necessary to speak, the other person is not getting bored with your talk and so on.

Do you listen enough to "know" your friends well enough?
If someone talks their head off all the time, they don't have time to learn about someone.
Unless their the type to listen and gossip.
