Their most famous song is probably Time is running out, their best album is Black Holes and revalations. and they are from the tiny town of Teingmouth, which is quite close to Torquay and Paington. So it is quite near Plymouth

One of my favourite subjects! First off, they are from Teignmouth in Devon, but none of them are originally from Devon. Matt Bellamy was born in Cambridge and Dom and Chirs were from somewhere in the north west. They all moved to Teignmouth when they were about ten or so; having that in common seemed to be a catalyst to being friends and the rest is history.

Most famous song? Debatable really. In terms of chart success, the ones that got highest and or hung around longest; Time is Running Out, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia, Starlight... If you ask Muse fans you'll likely be told Plug in Baby, Muscle Museum, New Born; generally the early stuff.

They are the sort of band where chart success with a particular song doesn't necessarily mean that is their best song. Many of my favourites are album tracks (Endlessly and Ruled by Secrecy from Absolution) Sober, Fillip and Falling Down (from Showbiz).

As for albums, I know I'm biased, but they are all great. My favourite is Absolution; it's got beautiful piano songs (Ruled by Secrecy), completely heavy stuff (Stockholm Syndrome) and stuff that's pretty whistleable and accessible (Time is Running Out) and the brilliant Endlessly and Sing for Absolution; perhaps two of the best songs ever ever.

Of the four, I'd say Origin of Symmetry is the hardest work (even though that was the album after just one song that got me into Muse in the first place). Try Absolution first, then Black Holes and Revelations, then Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry. Sorry for the long answer, but i can't keep it brief on this subject, sorry!

Merry Christmas!

I'd say their most famous song would be Supermassive Black Hole, but their best album is either Origin Of Symmetry or Absolution. I can't decide. and their BEST song has to be Plug In Baby. all their new stuff is way more mainstreamed and radio-friendly if you ask me, it's like they've sold out. (I sure hope the next album is better!) not sure where they're from but I love them!

Most famous song? Hmm, probably either "Time Is Running Out", "Space Dementia", or "Supermassive Black Hole."

To be honest, you can't really go wrong with any of their albums. But IMO, 'Origin Of Symmetry' and 'Black Holes And Revelations' are the highest quality releases. 'Absolution' is also really good, too.

Their most famous song....

1.time is running out
2.plug in baby
3.feeling good
4.supermassive black hole

all of their albums are excellent.

Their latest, Black holes and revelations is excellent.

My fav is Absolution, which is much darker but lyrically their best.

Origins of Symmetry and showbiz are also brilliant.

I would go from latest to oldest albums if you are a new fan.

Supermassive Black Hole probably the most famous.

I really loved the "Showbiz" album, but they are all fantastic!

I think they are from Devon.
