Check with Immigration & Naturalization (US govt) for details about working on a student visa. There are limits to how many hours you are allowed to work legally, though I don't think there are limits on the kind of job you can apply for. if ur student in average univ also...u will get chances to work inside the univ...after the first year of m.s u will get opport to work as reasearch assistant and other u can see in your univ website abt the details.....better to see for part time out side the univ after first sem....all the best
