For me it was when I was five I was going upstairs to bed and triped on the feety pj's that i was wearing and fell backwards down 21 stairs. It was strange seeing the stairs moving like that. and I thinking when it was going to end. It turns out that i was ok and just had a big bump on the head my mother was terrorfyed and was freaking out. after it was over she gave me ice cream and let me stay up late.

The closest I have come to dying was when some idiot lost control of his car when he was doing 120km and spun out flying backwards down the road and slammed straight into me. He compressed his car down to a one seater and bent mine up pretty bad as well. I remember the few seconds when I saw him coming at me and thinking that this is it. Then I remember seeing the airbag of the car already deflated and thinking. How am I still alive. Glass had shattered all around me and my ankle had been crushed and my sternum fractured and I looked across at the idiot sitting in his car which was now right up against mine as though they were parked side by side. It was a real shitty experience and totally spoiled by daughters 15th birthday. It was only 1km from home and headed to decorate my daughters cake when I got hit and ended up in hospital. It still don't know how I survived with minimal damage when I look at the photos of the cars.

Then i replaced into on the swim team in highschool and replaced into working around the disguise for the pool with yet another guy or woman and fell interior the direction of the two pads. i could no longer raise the pad as much as breathe, so I had to swim to the different area of the pool and get out.. and that i replaced into panicing and actually ought to respire. And once I have been given out i coughed up water.. i replaced into terrified.

I had had a by-pass surgery to lose weight. That was 5 years and 5 months ago. I developed " lungs embolya" after 12 hours. Docs, nurses, every1 in hospital were saying I was dying, but I did not, though I had to stay more than 1 month in bed, well, I must say I was not scared at the time, not at all, weird, isn't it ?

i was 9 years old. we had gone to the lake to swim and play in the swimming area. i could not swim at the time and was floating around on a tube. i didnt notice that i had floated into the deeper water. the tube slipped out from under me as i tried to turn over and i almost drowned. it felt like i was under water for a very long time and my lungs were on fire it seemed. some strangers grabbed me and took me to the shore. it shivers my skin to think about still. but ya know, after a while of sitting on the shore... i got back inthe water and played some more. of course mom was right there and i didnt get in the deep part. i can swim now too.

We had a huge ant problem in our house. My mom set Antroll poison on the counter. arsenic. I drank half of the bottle at two. The lab was supposed to rush the order but refused because the urine sample was strong enough to kill an adult. They thought it was an autopsy lab. I was in grade school when my mom told me this story and I thought it was a big deal. I now like to think that I can smile at the right time and change the mind of someone who changes the mind of someone who...

I had to delay going to Basic Training because I had a cist on my throat. I had not eaten or drank anything for days. I was pretty weak by the time I was rushed to the hospital. That would have to be the closes that I have ever been to death.

I dove off a huge cliff in Greece, but I barely pushed myself off the cliff's edge when I dove... I came very close to getting hurt but I was OK.

We rolled a brand new 18 wheeler. It only had 2000 miles on it. There was just enough room in the cab for our two bodies afterwards. We both walked away from it. Miracle or fluke. Dunno.
