Many people claim that it is like the best show ever, even better than NBC's HEROES grrr >:( . . . anyways, should I start watching it or is it just overrated??

it's really good but you should go rent the first two seasons so you won't be LOST HA HA HA HA HA HA HA ...sorry

Lost is a really good show. I wouldn't say it's the best show ever, but I do really like it. The only problem is that if you start watching it now, you will be completely lost (ha ha, sorry, I had no better word). There are so many things that have happened in previous episodes, all of which have some kind of affect on later episodes. Episodes of this show, more than any other I've ever seen, depend on things that have happened in prior episodes. I recommend that you either rent or buy the DVDs from previous seasons. Or, you can go to the show's website and read up on past episodes. I did that, but then again, I only missed the first six or seven episodes. Maybe you can buy/rent the DVDs of the past seasons, then read up on the episodes that were aired this season (which aren't on DVD yet). I do think that this show is worth your time, but only if you know what's going on.

really enjoyed Season 1 and when Season 2 came i was expecting it to be like S1 but during the middle portion of the show, i was really LOST... but i made it till the end and was rewarded with a good start in S3... hope it continue... but i hope it goes out with a bang too as i am getting bad reviews from friends lately on the show, on how its so draggy and stuff..... Am on HEROES.... so far, okay.. but i think its a bit lacking as the writer tries to draw out each characther...... too many people spoils the broth.... so i hope for HEROES, they will just keep to minimum pax.

Yeah, Lost is a really great show espescially if you are into the whole mysterious island thing. Lost is also great because there is always a clif hanger right at the very end of the show.
Try watching it, I am sure you will love it....('',)

I am a huge fan of Lost....I would recommend that you rent or buy the 1st season and start from there
