Kobe has the rings, he gets my vote. I would say Dwayne Wade is better as a teammate though.

Well, Kobe has been in the league much longer and has more experience and is a great player but it seems to me Lebron James is much better guy- Kobe seems sort of like a jerk. He did throw down 81 but Lebron will come to that point- but faster. I think that Lebron is young and his game is still maturing and when he finally does get some supporting players- something he lacks he will be one of the GREATEST and with Kobe's teammates stepping up this year he still is sort of a ball hog and I just don't think he is better than Lebron- but he still really is a great player and probably as well one of the best in the leage.

Lebron still has huge potential, while Kobe has reached the limit, but will keep up his great stats. Lebron has not had the super games like 81 points, but he is only 22 years old, and barring injury, will continue to improve statistically, which is quite scary, considering he is already putting up Jordan-like numbers. It's very possible for him to put up 35-8-8 for an entire season. But neither will prove their true worth until they anchor a championship. Kobe has championships largely because Shaq was in his prime. But he has supporting players that are having career years, like Luke Walton. Lebron's teammates are having sub-par seasons, so it is quite impressive that he is putting up similar numbers to last year. It just doesn't look as impressive as it should because he did it last year as well.

Lebron, Kobe only scores so much cuz he is a ball hog. if he let his teammates play, he wouldnt be getting 50+ points per game. and also Lebron has natural talent, he was good from the beginning, Kobe has always been good as well, but he's been in it a few years and is only really showing his "talent" this year. and just some random stats:
FG% 3P% FT% RPG STL BLK TO AST PTS
Bryant 45 34 85 5.3 1.84 .38 3.13 4.5 35.4
James 48 33 73 7 1.56 .84 3.29 6.6 31.4

Kobe is the better player right now. He has no consistent help on his team. Lebron is definitely in his class though. Him Wade and Carmelo.

Well, that's a hard pick. If you mean who is better in their team, I would definitely say LeBron, the Lakers SUCK. But if you mean like one-on-one, I really don't know... maybe LeBron.

Kobe. and he isnt being a ball hog he takes like 2 shots in the 1st quarter and he is passing the ball more often. last year he had to take so many shots because no one else wanted to shoot and why would he pass the ball if he can score?
