What's the difference between Bristol vellum and Bristol smooth?

Bristol Vellum is very smooth and slightly transparent, is great for ink drawings, like technical drawings. Bristol smoth is like a heavywieght smooth paper, good for ink, markers and paint. Neither of these is very good for colored pencils. The paper has some kind of coating that repels wax and crayons.

Vellum is a high quality tracing paper.
