Mostly through blood.

For example, the human nose has many blood vessels lining it in order to warm up air before it enters the lungs to ensure that we don't get a "shock" from the cold air.

Another example is in frostbite. Frostbite occures when the body, in order to conserve heat, stops blood from flowing to the extremities such as ears, hands, feet, and the nose in order to keep the core organs warm and those extremities literally freeze. The body does this because heat is lost most in those places.
