I really dont know this term but if you go to www.history.com and click onto military and then type in Japanese Operations, you will get a bunch of facts and oodles of info even audio/visuals if you want. It is a very good site.

I Know what you are talking about but it was not called that as far as I know.

It was the plan that was set up to decide who would be rotated home and who would be transferred to the Far East for an invasion of Japan. The plan was that each person was given points as to how long they had been in the Military, how much combat time they had, what decorations they had won, and if they had any children at home. If you reached a certain number I believe 400 you were rotated home. The rest were to be sent east.

It came to about forty per cent were transfered to the far east.

This comes from reading many books on WWII
