We've known each other for almost 9 years now. We've made out a few times, but never gotten serious or gone any further. I'm just wondering exactly how we can ever make this work. We joke about getting married in the future, but we don't even know how to truly go about it. He knows that I love him and everything and he does care about me, but I don't know how to go about making my "moves" lol. Since I have never had to make any moves. Through the years I've had two serious relationships, and he hasn't had any! I wonder if he's waiting for me or if he's too nervous to date seriously. I'm just wondering how I go about telling him I want to get serious without coming across too strong. Also we're wondering how we can do this without screwing up our relationship! Any Advice would be most helpful! THANKS!

i dont think that there is any magic formula .
i can understand that u dont want to lose the relationship u have with him but if no one of u two makes a move u will stay only friends. most time in life u cant have it all . so u should think what it is u want , take the risk and talk to him about ur feelings or waiting till he makes a move . or u both do nothing and just wait if the miracle will happen .
whatever it is , i wish u all the luck that things will come as u want them .

You have already slept with him, don't let him have the milk without buying th cow he let you go twice, don't be a fool talk to him and see where he's going , girl it's been 9yrs and no commitment??? What is wrong with just being his friend? It don't seem to me that he wants anything, I can be wrong..

if you've made out and he hasnt had any1, and all the joking on bout the future ...i reckon he wants ya but too shy to say so... just tell him but say if not thats ok,,lets not change anything.....HE WANTS U HE WANTS U....he has to...my 1st b/f and now engaged with 2 kids was too shy like that but now look at us
