I think that conflict is often a means of distraction. That is, many would rather be arguing than working. If, (while either at work, or at home), you are spending much of your time "Proving a point", you are distracted from the fact the you are trapped on a tread-wheel, making others rich, and hopelessly in debt .

I dont like being in situations of conflict. I don't enjoy persuading others to my view point; I just want them to understand my viewpoint. They can disagree or agree; it's up to them.

you are asking a lot of questions that are asking the same-thing mate,
As with your other questions be clear in your own mind what it is that you are trying to achieve and you will largely find people don't like conflict but will negotiate if they don't feel threatened by you
Occasionally people try to take you on but not often if you are clear where you stand on an issue

I enjoy defending my point because I like to know what and why I believe and I like to be challenged so if I don't have the answer I will go looking for it rather than name calling.

I absolutely do! But I have no clue why. And whats more, I usually end up hating the this fact b/c it leads to fights and arguments that I would never have started if I knew this was where it would lead.

Yes I'm always right. Those people who think they know everything irritate us who really do.
