Well.........other people are intrinsically meant to be there to help u grow and become all that u can be..........so you will see yourself in others to aid a clearer perception of yourself, so that you may learn and change certain charactoristics as necessary...........

You seems to know why people flaunt themselves. Basically, people want to be the superior among the fellow-men, to have a distinctive identity (name and fame), so they try to flaunt their personality either through their assets, money or their achievements.
