I think your a fu**in genius, You save money because they will be trying to give away the stuff they could not sell before xmas, You avoid all the hustle & bustle, & youget to see their little faces light up after the xmas pallavah is all gone. Well done & happy new year.

It's a good idea. My daughter goes to her dads Xmas eve night until the morning after boxing day. I buy the things that shops will run out of, like the latest craze toy, before Xmas then I buy everything else on boxing day. I've done this for the third year running and so far so good. My daughter doesn't know, she thinks Santa came Xmas eve and left them for when she comes home.

For years i never dreamed of going out on boxing day but a few years ago i was given a second computer so had to go out and get a flat monitor, it was quite an experience, the place was packed, if you want then do it, depends if you want to sit at home or do something.

It saves money so they get more presents for your budget.
However you will need a strong will and a sound heart to go shopping on boxing day. The crowds are horrific and people become psychotic about the bargains and fight each other. Try to get wherever you are going by public transport as well as the roads and car parks will be awful

It's nice to hear of someone with some sense, if your children are not with you for Christmas, why not try to save money, they aren't going to know and lets face it, most things are less than half the price, after Christmas.

Not a bad idea. It shouldn't be any crazier to wait until after Christmas than to try and do it before.
What I asked people for this year was to go shopping after Christmas so that I could get a better bargain.

If you are not seeing anyone until after Christmas, why not? You should have got them something to open on the day though, and said the rest will be waiting for them when they get home.

Not a bad idea I suppose, but don't forget, the shops close early on Boxing Day.
