Yes, up until the time when my sister and I (ages 7 & 8) were holding hands while riding bikes. We went around the corner of the street we grew up on. I was on the outside and she whipped me around and crashed me into the pavement!! I was a bloody mess...screaming all the way back home while my bike laid in the street. My sister convinced me that it was the bikes fault!! What did I know...I was only 7. Those were the days of motor cross bikes and bananna seats!! LOL

I went through about a billion wheels by jumping it. We never could afford the good bikes with tough wheels that my friends had so I was stuck with the huffy. Probably spent more on wheels and tires than a good bike would have costed.

I loved my bike so much when I was a kid that I named it. Yep, I named it White Lightning because it was white and I felt like I was moving as fast as lightning when I rode it. It was so big when it was given to me, and I was so little, that I had to stand on the picnic table to get on it. When it was time to dismount, I jumped off it as it slowed.

Those were good times.

Once I learned to ride it, I rode all over the place, I loved feeling the wind in my hair and on my face.
