dear friends, last week i have shared my prblem with u all and got wonderful response for my query.(I have been cought for shop-lifting and released under bail upon submission of my passport at one of the retail outlets in dubai,a case is charged against me) the answers were consoling, sympathetic, attentive and pensive. i thank all of you for there with me and promise that i will abide the
guiding principles. till now i have not received any call from the cops and these waiting period I feel in the depth of despair, i am ready to face the punishement, but waiting for the punishement is really suicidal. my husband is aware of my situation and he told me that he will go to the retailers and talk to them on my behalf, he wants me to write a pleading letter requesting to withdraw the case and settle the issue paying the penelty . i need to check with you all that do you think it will be a right way, in that case what i should be writing to them. please advice ...i will be highly obli

I wouldn't write to them I would go to the store and talk to the manager and tell him, tell him that your are deeply sorry and you know now that it was not right. and ask him if there is anyway you can make up for it. if not just wait and see. and take whatever punishment that is handed out.

Five days ago, my father of 79 was caught and he has suffered and I have, cannot stop thinking about it and I want to write a letter to the store and ask for forgiveness.

The shop are not taking him any further, just banned him.

I really don't know what to tell you. All I can really say is try not to make any excusses for you actions. You know as well as they do that what you did was wrong and at this point I really don't believe that explaining the situation would really do you any good. Just be honest.

yes u shud do it. and yes let ur husband approach them and write that it was just accidental and not at all intentional. i m sure they will agree ...all the best everything is gonna turn out fine. just take it as if this was a bad phase in ur life....all the best...
