Did you know that they install some type of spyware on your computer that allows your computer to be controlled by hackers. It's either called PMINSTALL or IMINSTALL. I don't remember, but it's bad.

i have got limewire and i got caught for downloading it as it is illegal. Luckily i told them where i got it from, an advert and i didn't know that it was illegal, they let me off. But be warned you could get caught as well! So i am not happy with it now but I was before i was caught.

Yeah no problems whatsoever. I have been using it for years. And there is no spyware on LimeWire!! Your antivirus may pick up some files as "spyware" because it is a P2P file sharing program.

If you're using the free one you can encounter problems with speed just counter that by mass downloads. Oh and just a handy hint you can use LW to download LW Pro :)

If you want something better and faster than limewire, why not try using frostwire it's free to download and it is made by a break-away group of limewire, no restrictions and 8 times faster.

I hate limewire. It wrecked my last PC (my own fault I suppose coz I didnt have up to date virus software installed). I find that alot of stuff isnt what you think - its either ad's or porn, music wasnt downloading properly - I dont bother with it anymore. xxx
