He's a ******* jerk! He plays this girl who he knew was kicked out her house by her damn mom. She's been staying at house since my dad and my step-mom are sending things to the U.S.A from Brazil. My best-friend of all people takes advantage of this girl... He thinks that she should of said something, and that he's more of a man for sleeping with her. I hadn't realized he was such a womanizing jerk until now... I tried talking to him, and it's like talking to the president. I tried talking to my other guy friends. they all know right from wrong... but some think this is funny!!! What should I do to get my mind off of this... I probably wouldn't be so bad if she didn't live in my house, ( by the way she 'was' a virgin, and really sweet girl, now she's feeling even more hopeless.) And what should I do for her?

OK, a couple of things come to mind. First, you are a good guy for worrying about this, or you wanted her for yourself. In the first case, yaay, in the second yaaay for worrying about her despite your motives ;-)
Second, I would ditch the friend if he did in fact play her instead of just taking what was being offered. If he would kick someone who is down to make himself feel good, what would he do to his friends?
Third, are you sure there is not going to be a relationship there and that he just used her?
I'm very impressed that you know that your friends behavior was wrong, and that you are concerned about this girl. Good going.
Ditch the bad guy, there are enough bad people in this world that you do not need to intentionally surround yourself with them, know what I mean?

First off he is in the wrong for taking advantage of a bad situation. I feel the urge to kick his *** myself, but that wouldn't resolve nothing. If you have tried and he will not listen than there is not much one can do. So I would concentrate all your efforts on helping the girl get a higher self esteem and help her see she don't have to cater to this guys every whim. Help her see that she is a good person despite her mom kicking her out of the house , be there for her as much as you possibly can and if it helps keep that jerk out of the house, after all he don't live with you or does he?

Hi Mac, I would try and comfort her. Let her know that all guy's are not like your friend. Tell her you are sorry that something like this has happen to her. Be her friend, not like your A S S H O L E FRIENDS. You might want to see if she would like to go and see a movie. Just to get her out of the house, and her mind on something else. I would have a talk to the bastard that did this to her. Tell him she is off limits, and not to be hanging around your house. This girl has enough problems already.

Your friend has betrayed your trust by taking advantage of an innocent who, by virtue of living in your house, was implicitly under your protection. This is unacceptable behavior and you should make him aware of this if he isn't already. For her, you can do little but be supportive. You might start by publicly disassociating yourself from your erstwhile friend and his prehistorically macho attitude to women and conquest.

You can't change him. She was innocent and fell for his line. some guys just prey on innocent girls. That might explain the anger women feel nowadays towards men and put you into categories and generalize. Realize he's a dog and warn future ladies who are on his radar what he's after.

ive been in a similar situation and sometimes there really is no escaping this, she needs someone to count on and i say you should be there for her. if she feels hopeless, make her feel like shes not going through this alone, this may be hard but its harder on her if she has no one. be there for her and try to make her smile, making her smile after going through this is a first step to getting her stamina up. hope this helps and good luck
