Bush and Co got us into this mess.
Bush and Co made it infinitely worse.
If you don't know that, don't blame me.
If you insult me, you are lucky you are not standing in front of me.
It would not be good for you.

Iraq definately needs regional support. That support will determine its future.

Sometimes one has to work with others for the better of everything, regardless of past disagreements.

Just look at history, no nation gained anything by pretending to be more superior to others. Its a form of fasicm.

Since most of them are already involved that would have to be a no. Now if you want the involvement to grow let the US pull out suddenly. If you have been paying attention closely most of the surrounding countries have already declared their intentions. And those intentions would lead to a major Middle East war. Syria and Iran backing Shiites and Saudi backing the Sunnis. The best hope now is that the hard liners in Iran lost in the last election. If they can swing their government a little more moderate, slow the money and arms getting into Iraq and Lebanon possibly Iraq can get control without a major war. But it will not happen without our help. At least until Israel takes out Iran's nuke program. That is going to happen if Iran keeps up the destruction talk. I don't think Israel will take the chance the Iranians are telling the truth and I don't think they will do it with conventional weapons this time. The risk is too big for them.

They are already involved--against us.If you are even moderately literate you should have read or seen on TV that the IEDs are supplied by Iran and that Syria is funding and supplying the Sunni.
Saudi Arabia says if we pull out that they will fully fund the Sunni and you will see more that a civil war.It will be a killing field.Al-Qieda and Iran see Iraq as the center of the Mid-East and the place where the twelfth Imam will return.

You Dem are so simple minded that you think because you want peace that they do.Well they don't and you can not make peace with those who hate you.

The whole region is made up of tribes and different religious affiliations. The tribes and religious groups cross all the boundaries, and any solution will require cooperation across the borders. Saddam held this in check with force. For it to be voluntary, some very good diplomacy will be required. For that to happen, BushCo and the NeoCons will have to go as they have a very different agenda, which does not allow cooperation with countries like Syria and Iran.

Unfortunately, surrounding countries (Iran,Syria) has already taken those first steps in getting involved, but, I think the true question is who does Iraq trust to help to improve the country's crisis ? I hope President Malaki, wipes that confused look off his face, and be straight with everyone, with what his plans are, and who is he thinking of partnering with. I was pissed when he shrugged off our President of the US, that was dis-respectful to the American taxpayers who's monies gets allocated to countries like his.
