well i personally think it is harder, at least for me. i am a virgin and sometimes use tampons and it is tougher to put in sometimes. its cause we arent stretched out as much as people that have had guys things inside of them. thats why it hurts for a virgin to have sex for the first time. they arent stretched out. but everyones different.
i dont think using tampons means your not a virgin, it probably does make the process of becoming not a virgin alot easier though. you are still a virgin if you use tampons cause then pretty much there are no virgins cause most people do use tampons now.

It has to do with the hymen, which can vary from completely covering the vaginal opening to being completely absent. It's assumed you have to break the hymen to insert a tampon, which isn't necessarily true. That isn't a measure of virginity in any case, by most (but not all) standards. A more important issue is whether you've had any form of unprotected intercourse. Oral intercourse counts so if you've had it, you aren't a virgin anymore regardless of the shape the hymen is in. Masturbation doesn't count because then most everybody would be not-a-virgin at a very young age. I'd figure tampons as being hygenic tools, and thus NOT making you not-a-virgin regardless of what they do to your hymen. But as I hinted earlier, some cultures place a ridiculous importance on the hymen, so much so that there is now hymen reconstruction surgery for women about to be married. Worry more about protecting yourself from disease, and not at all about what tampon insertion does to "virginity" or the state of your hymen.

I used tampons before and after losing my virginity.
If you happened to tear the hymen, then yes, the "physical" aspect of virginity is gone.
However, women can tear their hymens by more ways than having sex...such as physically active females whose constant stretching has been known to sometimes tear the hymen.
The most obvious reason a woman would have a more difficult time putting in a tampon if not a virgin is because she is not used to the feeling of having things in her vagina, know what I mean?
It was harder for me at first, until I learned to be comfortable with the process.

It should not be harder to insert a tampon regardless if you are a virgin or not. I wore them while i was still a virgin and usually had no problem. On the other hand if your vagina is too dry then inserting the tampon will be painful. I remember experiencing the pain while still a virgin and after losing my virginity. If you feel any pain use a personal lubricant.

"Everyone" says that because of the guilt that overly conservative people put on them and because people are obsessed about scaring other people and making up lies to get attention.
Answer to your question? You are a virgin until you've had sex. Yes, it's true that it's harder insert a tampon if you are a virgin because of the unbroken hymen, but it will hurt more to have your hymen broken by having sex versus a tampon.

No, you're nevertheless a virgin - you may actually understand in case you weren't!! It skill which you likely have greater useful technique than you probably did first of all, or which you're greater moist internally. in case you're no longer moist sufficient it somewhat is extremely uncomfortable. i could recommend you employ an applicator tampon for ease.

Virgins are women or men who have not had sex. Tampons were the only thing I ever used except after having a baby. You shouldn't have any problems using them as long as you change them everytime you have to pee, or at least every 4 hours.

Its not true. You can not loose your virginity from a tapon. I used tampons while I was a virgin and after 2 kids don't think using them is any different.

No, it defintiely doesn't mean that.
But im a virgin, and personally, tampons are a no-go for me. They are so uncomfortable, to the point of being painful, so i stick with pads.

No, tampons don't breach the hymen. But they do have their own problems associated with them. Ever read the warning sheet that comes with them? Scary stuff.
