Where is the best place to go with Amtrak?

DENVER!! It stops at Union Station In LoDo, where all the nightlife and action is. Then take the 16th St, Shuttle ( free! ) to the heart of downtown. Stay at the Brown Palace Hotel, see a show or visit a comedy club, they are all within walking distance. THEN when you are ready, take AMTRAK to WINTER PARK ski resort and have fun on the slopes.

Yep. West Coast to Denver. The Sierras and the Rockies. Awesome trip.
