I bought a jade last week, many people say if you wear the jade long enough (many years), it'll absorb your blood and turns a little red, becomes part of your body....and you can't take it off any more as long as you wear it on, not even bathing....after you die, the jade will keep the memory and scent of its owner......is it true?...Thanks

that's urban legend. it's not true.
for example, if you buy a white jade, it'll never turn green, irregardless of how many years you wore it.
(some jades may look white, but its actually green, or other colors)
besides, only quality jades, without cracks (unable to see with unskillful eyes) can change hues according to your chi.
as the previous answerer said it, it'll turn slightly darker.
however, one interesting thing to mention is that if you had wore it for many years, the jade does 'absorb' your chi, like it became part of you. when you are unhealthy, the hue of jade will turn pale & uneven. when you are in the pink of health, the color will look vibrant.

I have never heard that one. It might darken a bit. Jade has a fibrous structure to it. It can absorb a little bit of oil. It might also weather a little bit. If you believe in that story I don't see any harm in it. I just think of Jade as a fairly heavy, medium hard and quite tough stone that has a nice colour and takes a fairly good polish.
