You have to admit that the way they pulled off that feud, making everyone believe it was real (including the audience of David Letterman's show) was nothing short of brilliant.
It's incredible to me that Kaufman never broke kayfabe.

In the Man on the Moon film with Jim Carey, he was a comedic genius. However, if I paid money to see his show and he read the Great Gatsby like he supposedly did I would have a different opinion. Great angle for wrestling which I suspect where Hogan got the idea to call himself Hollywood. It was hilarious his challenging women. Funny gimic not a mean spirited person.

I don't remember the feud. But I believe Andy Kaufman was disturbed and I've never believed that he died of cancer at such a young age of 36, I've always thought that was a cover for how he really died.

I think the feud was hilarious!! jerry has, on many occasions, said that the entire thing was a hoax. just one of andy's great pranks on the world. i gotta say... mr kaufman was a comedic genius. and where ever he is tonight, i salute him!!
