does it have any markings? if it does not, its unlikely that it has much value

these days you can take detailed pictures and post them on the net, then send some email inquaries to experts and provide those pictures to get an ideea if it has any potential value. if anyone says you may have something, take it further and have it evaluated by an expert

find an antique show close to your place, you are shure to find an apraiser there.

Without a proper photo, it is impossible to say.

Some of them are Asian, some of them are copies of Tibetan artifacts sold as the original items (some actually are the real items and are priceless! Some are even Penn Dutch, some are Indian they are most common, (from India) Some from Burma some are English and being that the trees come from China and Japan... some are obviously Japanese and Chinese... They are usually the most beautifully carved and most functional pieces of art..

There are so many different shapes, styles, carved not carved. Camphor wood is still being carved and used in furniture today so you simply would have to post pictures for me to tell you?

On the average without a photo... It can be anywhere from a few hundred dollars to priceless.

You still have not even mentioned the size or the dimensions either?
