To answer this question, I would say the keyword is "lady".

As the old saying goes, a lady should be extremely polite as a Japanese woman in the presence of other people, and a sexualmaniac in the bedroom. The lady should wear ankle length skirts and never pants in public.

If the above is very restrictive, then she can go to the next easier level, which is a woman. A woman can do pretty much everything except what a s1ut will do.

Being a lady is the ultimate beauty admired and respected by all men. Yes repected.

If the situation demands a 10, a lady always delivers only 8. Let this be your guideline. So when ever you feel like doing something, such as choosing a good dress, measure your choice in 1 to 10 and choose whats at number 8. Do this even for emotional response. If you wish to shed 10 tear drops at the death of an infant, shed only 8 drops - you are a lady

The traditional view of ladies behaviour is "Nobody borns to be a lady - everybody learns it.
Normally we learn it from our mothers - but always we don't have mothers able to teach us the way of being a lady. We can also follow others we resbect and those who seem to behave well and dress nicely. We sould not follow blindly - but learn only greaceful things. Nobodys a perfect lady - and everybody makes mistakes. It's only human.
Whether we learn it from our mothers - or from others - or may be from books: learning to be a lady is definately hard work.

Years ago there used to be books written to explain the etiquette for every situation .Nowadays it`s not so clear cut but it would still take the length of a book to explain every situation .And seeing as i`m not allways very ladylike i wouldn`t know everything
Basically i should think it means ,keeping pride in yourself ,avoid being coarse or behaving in a sleazy way
dress appropriately Just wearing a bikini or cosi is OK on the beach but not on the street so don`t dress in a tarty way
Be good mannered and treat others with respect and keep judgemental opinions to yourself .
Don`t use swear words or bad language
and be gracious when offered help
Don`t get drunk in public

I imagine it depends on what kind of lady you want to be- a lady of God or a lady of the world? a lady of God will dress moderately and behave in a matter that does not offend- no flirting with men-being nice and talking are fine as long as it is not a sexual topic- etc.. a lady of the world will dress as the world does- sexually open to conversation and men- fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. and if we ask W.W.J.D.? and actually think about it- we would not do half of the things we do- or watch half of the TV programs we do-- ultimately we are thrown into this world to decide who we will immolate- God or It! I won't lie, I fall inbetween- and struggle every day to be more like Him.... it's our choice

The word "lady" has connotations of class, refinement, that sort of thing. It usually involves dignity, self assurance, confidence, politeness, tact, a good education, manners, a kind of quiet strength and beauty.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, if you can manage treating friends and strangers decently, being honest, fair, and kind you've done the important stuff and nobody could really criticise you as acting poorly or rudely.

First of all being a lady does not mean being perfect and fancy. You do not have to curtsy all the time to be a lady. You are not expected to be Victorian. Being a lady means you are polite, you don't conduct yourself like a person who has no home training, and is considerate of others. Remember all you basically need to do is to use common sense and you will be fine.

A lady should behave according to their background

You really can't answer that question fully without taking into consideration religious beliefs and background. That is the biggest part of what our society believes in how we should act. The basics in my mind should be: A lady should be kind and understanding, should know when to quit taking crap and be able to stand up for herself. A lady should always do what is best for her family (kids and then husband) and be able to show them love unconditionally.

With grace, tact, thoughtfulness, and strength of character, integrity being the base from which you make your decisions.
Being willing and able to "agree to disagree".
With confidence that comes from knowing that you are precious and unique, but not God's gift to men.
By using your femininity to be a blessing and a nurturer, not to power trip over "less attractive " women in any situation.
Be willing to admit it when you are wrong, and able to sincerely apologize.
By behaving with modesty and dignity in recognition of your charms, and not falling into the self-degradation of flaunting what you've got.
By realizing that nothing is sexier than an unassuming, unselfish, and a well-read sense of confidence.
By always remembering that it is more important to be kind than to be right.
Choose to be a life-long learner.
Last but not least, by learning how to make sure that if push comes to shove, you are not someone to be messed with, ie. not an easy target.
