So I'm not talking about which way the world revolves, or how it goes around the sun. This is about how your mind has constructed the cycle of the year, and how you think of it. Maybe how the year is mapped in your brain or whatever. Perhapse not everyone has the same answer as me.....

My year is a cycle of seasons, sort of like a sine wave in time which really comes close to the length of the day. The high poiint is the longer days, and the low point in the wave is the shortest days. I find my general mood from day to day follows along. I tend to be brighter on the longer days and moodier on the shorter days. A year is just the term I use for this cyclic effect in my life.

The image I have of the yearly cycle resembles the tail lights on a 1957 Buick Roadmaster Riviera.

After you see a picture, I'm sure you'll agree it makes sense.

If you are 2 years old, then 50% of your life is one year.
If you are 10 years old, one year is 10% of your life.
If you are 30 years old, one year is 1/30th or 3.3% of your life.
As you get older, your perception of time is distored in relation to your age. Therefore if you live to 100 years of age, then 1 year is *only*1% of your life!!
