My husband and i split up a few months ago,he started dating people that very week.I later found out he was with someone/relationship,and now i beleive he could have got her pregnant.I filed for child support.It was the only thing i could do to show him how seriouse this was,we are back together now.The thing is i dont want some girl coming along next year saying its his baby,i wouldnt be able to accept it peirod.I think if i drop the case now and then found out later that it is his,i have lost my chance.Is is first come first surve?He has an appointment on the 5th and we are currently trying to buy a house,yes i know stupid me but we have lived with my mother for almost a year and it was what split us up in the first place.Should i drop it now? or will i not be able to apply again? I am afraid i will end up with whats left for our two kids and it wouldnt be much.I may sound selfish but i wasnt that one that desided to have a relationship so quickly.

He brushed it off when he got the papers in like it was no big deal he could get it dropped.Now he knows if this does go through he may not be able to get a house.I think that he may just say hey i dont want to be with you anymore after he does get a house seeing that i am the only one that can help him.He is on ssi and i control the check and they will not let him control his money,it was in his moms name but when we got married we put it in mine.He is making it out like i lied on the child support papers,but when he does go in he will look stupid because i didnt lie about anything.He always plays victum in everything and he does it well.Yes i did things wrong but i didnt go as far as sleeping/dating other people.

You need to find out right now if this girl is pregnant. There are many issues here. If this girl has a baby, I'm sure she will file child support on your husband. He will probably have the payments taken out automatically from his paycheck. Are you financially stable enough to make do with the income that's left over? This could affect you making a house payment. Are you working? Can you make the house payment on your own and still handle all other expenses if you were on your own? Is your relationship strong enough to handle his affair and a possible child? My ex-husband cheated on me and we tried to get back together a couple of times but it never worked. If I had to do it again, I would have never got back with him. Go to court and get your child support. Have them take it automatically from his paycheck to avoid any ideas he may have not to pay you. If things work out between you, then you can have the child support stopped. Think carefully, you have to put yourself and your children first.

Anywho...I'm sorry I know you were asking if you are a moron for getting back with your husband so I'll drop it. K; now for an answer to your ACTUAL question. DONT get it dropped.. I wouldnt; not yet anyways; besides why should it matter if the two of you are together anyways? It's not like the money is going to another family, Besides; I would hope on to that child support order and see where things go..then if you two dont work out ...then at least you will already have your child support order in effect. ALSO...about the other possible pregnant female...NO it does not matter who applies first. Your husband will have to pay child support on ALL of his children

If you have all these doubts and questions now, then you really shouldn't be thinking of buying a house and all that. I went through a divorce and I learned the hard way; you HAVE to think of yourself and your welfare. If you're unsure of what's going on now, it would be stupid to drop everything and start all over again. I got suckered into doing that and I was the one that had to suffer for it.
