I have researched every possible website and no luck. I have 3 pink minnows ( or common goldfish ????? ) and I don't know what to feed them. Right now I'm feeding them goldfish flakes because Walmart said that they were, but they actually look like pink minnows ( What do they know?) Is what I'm feeding them ok? Is there anything else I could feed them?

Goldfish food will probably be fine but you could also feed any sort of prepared foods on the market (flake food, shrimp pellets, bloodworms, etc.) but the best foods are live or frozen.

You can buy live foods and even collect your own. If you leave a bucket of water outside in the spring/summer you can collect the mosquito larva that will grown and feed them to your fish. If that isn't an option you can see if your local fish shop carries live daphnia or brine shrimp and try those. If not, frozen bloodworms are also a great fish food.

Stay away from Wal-Mart if you want any decent advice on fish. I used to work at Wal-Mart so I know how little some of the workers actually know about fish. You're much better off goign to an actual pet shop or finding a good online community like www.aquahobby.com. Join the message board there if you're into fish keeping. You won't be dissapointed.
