I prefer the JBL's. My favorite choice for subs are JL audio. What are you wantuing these speaker to do. You were not specific. If you are looking for bass output, JL Audio is my choice. JBL are good for midrange and somewhat for the highs, but if you are looking for the best in highs, I would reccomend Morel. They ave a website. JBL makes okay amps, and good speakers, but definatlry not the best. Hope that this helps.

carvin....they are great all the way around and with the right amp and eq combo...they will shake everyone's liver in the house
