i want to download the popular and newest music but i dont want limewire or bearshare or something that has to be paid for

Try itunes, that is where I download all my music, there many other sites such as Yahoo Music, or Wal Mart Music Downloads. If you are downloading to a Mp 3 player depends upon what type of Mp 3 Player you are using. Most will transfer songs from your computer using Windows Media Player. If you have a iPod then iTunes is the only one it transfer from your computer after you have downloaded your songs. Then again I am more on the favor of iTunes. Real Player is another site you can download songs from.

Im not quite sure if you want a site to tell you the latest songs and popular ones or just a site to type in your request and download. If that is the case i download music through limewire.Go to the site and then you can download it to create a shortcut on your screen.Good luck!!!
