everyone is pretty much sold out - it's a hot item!
since it's sold out, what i would actually advise is getting gift cards for a store (only if you are planning to give the gift cards to the person, so that they can see they really ARE getting a DS), a gamestore would be good, but a local retailer will be better, as you'll see in a moment
the system comes to like 130 plus tax, and games are generally 29.99-34.99 each.
put the gift card[s] in a box that says "reserved nintendo DS" or something, written by yourself, of course.
on 12/27, head back to the store that you got the gift cards at, and pick up one of the systems that was returned, since people return stuff, and also remember that there are still deliveries after christmas, along with lower prices, stores get busy - they are very likely to have one next wednesday
i know it's not what you want to hear, but it's probably the best you can do, outside of stalking EVERY store on christmas eve, like a ton of other people

Wal*Mart
If they are sold out then i think yeah you're talking about the Wii and the guy at the end is right it's virtually impossible to find do late. But Nitendo DS shouldn't be that hard to find right now.

praticly any store online or retail, are you sure you meant ds, maybe not wii? cuz that's virtually imposible to find anywhere but ebay or maybe some shady guy in your local penny saver.
