I currently reside in Evansville, Wi. I am hoping to move to Murray, Ky within a few months. My question is that if anyone has moved out of their home state and into another state, how was it for you? And how did you go through with it? Like how did you plan everything and get everything together.Thanx for all your advice.

I have moved many times. It can be a lot of fun.
Be sure to collect all important papers (birth cert., school records, passport, any health issues, etc.)
and take them with you in a safe place. Do not let the movers take them. And don't be in a hurry to find a new house or apartment. There are always plenty available and you want to take the time to check out the new place before you move in. Most states allow you to drive with your old plates and license for a limited time. Check it out . No point in paying a fine that could be avoided. Good luck...

I have moved several times 5 different states may be moving to a sixth next year.
Moving is always a pain. Still it is exciting and a learning experience. You always learn how much stuff you have and do not need. You will throw a bunch of stuff out before you move and still more after you move.
As soon as you get moved become active in something be it a church or other social activity. It is the fastest way to make new friends. You will love KY it is one of the states I have lived in.
