Seems like these extreme right wing opinionated clowns invite guests on their shows to insult them and when it is time for a response from the guest they go to commercials. OOps! I forgot it is the FOX Channel !!! What else can we expect? Who else is missing from this Circus show - Rush Limbaugh ?

The Fox News channel and its network policies are nothing about what is "Fair and Balanced." It is said that anchors/ reporters are given written memo where clearly spelled out for them in no uncertain terms upon which position we should posture ourselves from and which stories they should take and which issues not to address at all.

The Fox News Channel is without a doubt about as far removed from the traditions of a credible reputable Journalism organization as anything ever witnessed in this Country.

Fox News pioneered this modern propaganda with its use of suggestive slogans and flags waving for banners as part of their latest campaigns which all help to subdue viewers as well the inclination that their agenda be continually adhered to.

Former Fox employees while working there were to conform to this coerced standard of operation or might find themselves not only out of work but signing releases with explicit conditions about which they were not to reveal the true nature of their findings or be sued, and a campaign under risk of being black listed from an industry for attempting to speak out in their conscious introspective on what is news and morality.

Rupert Murdoch heads Fox and has a vast say in the Worlds Media opinions today more than is safe for Democracy to flourish in the U.S.A. or anywhere else and Bill O' Reilly is a form "factor" of highly skilled crass with over the top Neo-cancer on the back side of humanity.

To his credit an intimidating lecturer so bold that he himself is perhaps beyond the scope of a challenge on air where the scales are always tipping for non Godly satanic conditioning of the denied thus implied version of mass scale manipulation in a 21st century application.

This is a rhetorical strategy designed to limit the possible effectiveness of an argument.

Watching “The O’Reilly Factor,” I was not surprised to once again hear the question “Do you want to win the war?” Aside from the fact that the person asked has an incalculably small impact on the outcome, this question is built around a flawed premise, namely that there is an answer.

“Do you want to win the war?” sounds harmless enough to most people because the expected answer is that yes, everyone wants to win a war. Or, more precisely, no one wants to lose.

The question also implies that, of course, the asker wants to win the war. The belief is that supporting America’s wars is patriotic, and if patriotism is a desirable trait, then not to support wars is to be against America.

A question like this, which is really just a false choice, serves only to quell dissent. If I were to say to you: We can end hunger, we can cure cancer, or we can fight terrorism. Which do you want to do? What is your answer? If you give any answer other than fighting terrorism, then, secretly, you must support it.

It is in this way that rhetoric is used against men and women of conscience to paint them into a corner.

Bill O'Reilly claims he is an independent. Oh sure! Hannity is 300% Republican and as obnoxious as O'Reilly. They are both ultracrepedarians....meaning people who speak expressing their opinions on everything and knowing very little about what they are talking about. Every time I watch O'Reilly and Hannity I want to throw up. No, I am not a Democrat or Republican, only a person who wants unbiased news. Lots of luck! And, oh yes, Rush Limbaugh. There is a real piece of work. Big mouth with nothing sensible or accurate coming out of it. I always disliked that guy from the first day I listened to him many years ago.

I don't think O'Reilly is an extreme righty. And as far as guests not getting any words in...I've heard them plenty of times. A lot of the times they dodge the question being asked. If a guest isn't going to answere a question, then bye bye. If a guest spouts copy cat (kool aid) statements without backing up their response with facts, then bye bye. The hosts don't have to answer questions, it's their show. They can if they want. I've heard Hannity get so wound up at someone because they are just spewing nonsense, that he cuts them off. If a person is a crack pot, in the hosts view, then they get cut off the air.
I've heard some honest debate on these shows as well. The left groups, some of them, just say hateful things, no real debate going on. I like to listen to Alan Combs talk show on FOX. He's got a level head, even tho I disagree with him on things. I disagree with Hannity, and O'Reilly and Rush too. That's called thinking for yourself. Libs should try it sometime.
Fox is not left or right, I don't think. Like they say, "We report, you decide." Just because they don't speak out against Bush, folks like you think they are pro-Republican. WRONG!!!
Air America is only on because of George Soros (is that the correct spelling?). No one wants to advertise on it because it is nothing but hate speech, from what little I've listened to it. When they talk nonsense, I turn it off.
Just because someone doesn't speak what you want to hear does not make them wrong...or you for that matter. We have free thought, free will, free speech, FREEDOM in this country. The problem is people get so hung up on their beliefs, they think everyone should think that way...no room for discussion. Welcome to life.

Because they aren't trying to really make for a well thought -out point or argue well for their position on a subject. They are there to spout forth their mindless rants-that is when Bill refuses them the use of his show as a soapbox.
Have not seen enough of the other guy to answer re. him.

Because having the person there gives them credibility. I you actually let the person speak, They would be out of jobs in half a second. Do you think any sane person would be unable to refute their attacks?
