At the end of hte day we have to respect and care for one another and be united. Otherwise, the media and the Govt is winning their game of trying to put a wedge between us. Devided we fall, united we are solid.

The govt knows this.....its all part of their plan to devide us.

I used to... but the more and more I deal with them on a personal basis. Actually that's not true, I have several good friends who are liberals (One is even a lawyer, OMG!!!). It's the crazy ones that I can't respect, and mostly that comes from my college experience. Go to my school and you would understand.

I have respect for libs and cons who do not call each other names or make inane comments like 'liberals hate America' or 'cons are gay.' When they do research and base what they say on actual facts instead of an extremist who makes stuff up, then I actually listen.

Just about the only liberal whom I respect is the late Justice Hugo L. Black, who retired 35 years ago.

in reality, liberals and Conservatives have more in common with each other, than they have with their extremist counterparts, that you see spewing mindless drivel all over yahoo answers, considering the fact that most real conservatives are considered liberal by the extremist these days

If the person can back up their views with unbiased reasons I can but very few people on either side can.

If their argument holds water I can respect it, even if I don't agree with it.
